There is a difference between natural baby products and our all-natural baby products.
Surprisingly, the term "natural" is not regulated by the FDA. What does this mean to you? It means that any company can call any product natural,
regardless of how many natural ingredients the product actually has. Products containing only one percent of natural ingredients could easily be
labeled as natural. This is very misleading to you as a consumer. So often we read the eye-catching labels on the front of a product and the term
"natural" appeals to us. However, turn the product over and read the tiny list of ingredients on the back label and you may be in for a huge surprise!
BUT READ THE BACK OF OUR LABELS...
and you will be in for a real treat! You will see listed a range of natural ingredients, including exotic moisturizing butters and skin-nourishing
oils. The only synthetic ingredient we use in any of our products is the preservative Germall Plus. This preservative is only used when absolutely
necessary and any product containing it will be clearly indicated in it's description that it contains a synthetic preservative, as well as this
ingredient being listed on the labels. Products containing water require a preservative because the water content can lead to spoilage. Currently,
these products are our lotions and our foot cream. We may add more products in the future that require a preservative but they will always be clearly marked.
A WORD ABOUT TEAR-FREE BABY PRODUCTS!
Our products are NOT tear free! The makers of tear free products add a chemical numbing agent to numb your baby's eyes so they don't feel the soap
burning them. The soap still burns and irritates their eyes, they just aren't feeling it at the time. Horrible isn't it?! Take comfort in knowing
that we do not take part in this practice. Doing so would undermine the natural character of our products. Our customers feel better knowing that
we spare the chemical numbing agent and you should always take care not to get soap into baby's eyes, even with a tear free product.
THINK YOUR PRODUCTS ARE UNSCENTED?
Once again, some manufacturers of unscented products are misleading you, the consumer, and here's how. Some unscented products actually have a scent
added to them to cover up or eliminate any natural aroma that the product may have. Thus, when you smell the product you do not smell any scent.
However, read the ingredients label carefully because it may indeed have scent added to it. Rest assured, if one of our products is labeled "unscented"
it has absolutely no scent added to it. It may have the natural smell of the ingredients used, but it will never have an added fragrance. This is
especially important to those who have sensitivities to fragrances. These customers need a pure, unscented product and that is exactly what we provide.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRAGRANCES
We've already discussed that our unscented products are completely unscented, which makes them 100% natural. Now we need to explain the difference
between our other fragrances. There are two different way to fragrance products. Essential Oils are derived from natural plants, thus making them
100% natural as well. To make your selection easier, the fragrances that use natural essential oils have the label "all-natural" next to the
fragrance selection. The other type of fragrances are synthetic fragrance oils. Because these are synthetic, meaning that the fragrance itself is
not a natural ingredient, products scented with them are all-natural with the exception of the fragrance that you choose to have added. We are offering
you the choice, now you can have an all-natural product, but still have popular fragrances added to your liking, including that wonderful baby smell
"Baby Magic Scent" (our personal favorite)!
